my own, but like you say, she is still y blood mother
and we have to learn to change her.

I had movies in mind followed-by early dinner.

Simple date but that was what we needed.

Being together for awhile now means that we
can more or less guess what the other had in mind.

So when we met today, he somehow or
rather guess that we were going to catch a movie.

All I did was smile but I was more
determine to see his priceless surprise smile.

I told him we were watching Shrek Forever After
when he asked me what we were catching knowing he
will be disappointed as he had Ip Man 2 in mind.

As we were going to the theater, as ours
were booked online, the ticket person took our
booking reference number.

Up to this point, he still has no
idea that we were watching Ip Man2.

Upon entering the theater, he was suspicious
especially to see many old uncles. He even asked
me if we were in the right theater.

And then the show started and he told me that this
was the movie that he wanted to watch and I whispered
to him “This is the movie Ip Man 2 sayang”

The smile on his face was priceless.

The first duty of love is to listen.

A lot of things are not in my favour but
I know I have to keep going and I know no matter
what I can count on your love and support.

It has really been rough dealing with things that I
never anticipate would happen to my own family but
this is something that made me think.

Anything can happen to anyone.

We have to always pray for
the best and prepare for the worst.

Like I told him, whatever the outcome, be it good or
bad, I will take only the good and make a lesson out of the
bad because no matter how bad a situation is, there
is always something good to take out of it.

Right from this moment on, I
will persist and fight for our happiness.

I have been selected for SIA Engineering Interview. Not that I don’t like it but I am so still hoping for Ikea to call back. When I first met you during your wedding,
I thought it would be all-awkward breaking the
ice since we never met before.

But somehow I convinced myself it would be okay
because through your reply when I congrats you via
SMS, you were very warm.

I like it that you treat me like a younger
sister despite already having Hanis as your
original younger sister.

I still remember how you kissed me
the first time I salam you at your wedding.

It was special considering I was
still new to your family at that time.

And I still remember the first
time I went your place for Hari Raya.

My first time there and I am not
treated like a guest which I love a lot.

Then there was our first
photo, our first time out together.

When I ask you any question, you would
offer your most sincere thoughts and advice.

It was all-sweet =)

But despite how time flies, even
now, you still make me feel special.

I guess only I know how sweet this feeling is because
I do not have a sister so any little thing that you did in
your capability as a sister, makes me feel special.

In the cookies of life, sisters are the chocolate chips.

Two souls with but a single thought and two hearts that beat as one.

The next day, again, we went out in the morning, meeting
Kakak and Abang Ijal for breakfast before heading out to get
the Hantaran fruits, chocolate and flowers.

Went home and both me and Kakak get down to making
our mini cupcakes while he send Abang Ijal home after getting
back from work as he has taken half-day.

At night, Kakak arranged the fruits just after I
polished them while he settled his Reservist stuffs.

People started sending over Hantarans
Dulang, which was sponsored at this time too.

Had a late night for an early morning the next day
when he fetched me just an hour after dawn. We managed
to snap a few shots before the day sets in.

Iron our attire as soon as I arrived before staring work.

Sliced the onions and cooked the tahu before going
to Afgan with Kakak which was super, very memorable,
which I think, need a seperate entry on its own.

In this event, Kakak was my tag-team. We settled the
Hantarans and flowers after getting back from Afgan as
it was running late.

Kakak did the:

Hand Bouquet,

and Kamal’s Mother’s Anniversary Bouquet,

while I did the Apple Pie’s
Dulang which was fun for a start.

Next, I arranged the Hantarans at her bed in the room,

before helping Mother with the Bunge Rampai.

By then, Hanis had her make-up by Liza and me and
my beloved was all covered in sweat and had shiny faces.

Soon after, we both got changed and did our
Asar prayers, before people started streaming in.

I had my hair and make-up done thanks to Cik Ani and Liza.

Half an hour after Hanis was out, Kamal’s Troop arrived.

After everything was settled, they came in
and sarong the Cincin and present her the Duit Hantaran.

Hanis loved her ring.
